Baldwin-Woodville Schools will be 2 hours late Tuesday, January 17.  Busses will run 2 hours later than their normally scheduled times.  ​

A reminder that the end of the 2nd Quarter/Semester 1 for middle school and high school students is Friday, January 20.  Please check Family Access and remind children to hand in any missing assignments.

There is no school on Monday, January 23 for all students.

  

Related imageIf severe weather develops during the day, the Skylert Notification System will be implemented; parents are also encouraged to monitor the TV stations or call the SCHOOL CLOSING HOTLINE (715-684-2200), to be informed of school closing early. 

Please do not call the schools, bus garage, or transportation office to request closing information as it is important to keep the lines open for us to make the necessary arrangements for late start or cancellation.

This is the 31st season of the local Gifts for Children program.  The program helps to provide gifts for children in the Baldwin-Woodville Area School District who would otherwise go without.  The program provides an excellent opportunity for community members to relish in the Christmas Spirit and give to families in our area.​  Attached is the form to apply to receive gifts. Today our "Fuel Up To Play 60" team received an autographed football from the Green Bay Packers. They entered a contest to show now they were being healthy and active. The football will be in the display case in the cafeteria along with the pictures of the team who won the contest. Members of the team include: Noah Sarauer, Jackson Johansen, Jenna Livingston, Marin Nygaard, Madison Driscoll, Corinne Miller, Janessa Karau, Emmit Coenen, Trinity Karau, Mikayla Moats, Jake Johansen, Kale Livingston.​

Image result for flu shotThis year St. Croix County Public Health Department will be providing flu vaccinations for school aged children on October 19 at school on Wednesday October 19.  If you would like your child to receive an immunization, print out the consent form below, sign it, and send it to school with your child by Wednesday, October 12.

Greenfield Elementary
11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.
Viking Middle School
12:00 noon- 4:00 p.m.
4:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
B-W High School

Open House will also be held at each of the 4-year old kindergarten sites.
        Elementary parents will have the opportunity to schedule their Parent/Teacher Conferences during Open House. Conferences will be held on November 3rd/4th and March 2nd/3rd.
        Transportation questions/information see Mr. Dachel in Greenfield library.
        Viking Middle School will be collecting fees during the Open House.
     Our "First Day Forms" that you have received at our Open House are now on-line. They are now called Back-To-School Registration Forms for all students for the 2016-2017 school year will be online in Family Access.
        Every current student will need to be registered by a parent or guardian before September 6, 2016, which is the first day of school. This change in procedure is to increase efficiency, ensure accuracy and reduce paper use.​

        4K students will also take pictures on this day. All 4K students will be required to take their pictures at Greenfield Elementary.

The Village of Woodville will be offering the Open Swim Shuttle to kids living in the Woodville area.


START DATE:      Monday, June 27, 2016 (Changed due to repairs)

END DATE:          Wednesday, August 17, 2016

Destination Imagination (DI) is a competitive problem solving K-12 program.  DI creates an opportunity for fun hands on learning and fosters creativity, critical thinking and team work, among other skills needed to succeed. DI blends Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) with the Arts.  

"The Mindblowers”, are a 4th grade Greenfield Elementary  DI team that placed 1st at Regionals and 2nd at State, qualifying them for the not only National, but GLOBAL competition! 18 countries will compete as well as 46 other states. This is the first team from BW to attend Globals since the program began at BW over 10 yrs ago.  The team is working hard raising funds for registration, room & board, travel expenses, and daily events May 25-28th, 2016 in Knoxville, TN.  Please help support these 4th graders raise the estimated $10,000 needed for their team to attend a once in a life time opportunity.  Thank you!
